I figured out on the first 2 it is the spade symbol (card suit) that I use as a marker in the sidebar Post column.. It’s been enlongated somehow..

First, can you confirm how you’re viewing the stats page when this view is shown? Are you on a desktop or mobile phone? When I view the following page from my desktop with the latest version of Chrome:

If you’re seeing something different, can you do the following?
1. Clear your browser’s cache as explained here:
2. Try a different browser just for comparison (Firefox would work best)

I use Chrome latest version on a laptop (17.2″ screen) . I get the same view as ( http://d.pr/i/1368f ). I’ve noticed only some post titles, not all, are not displaying properly.,
Maybe my screen capture was confusing. . I made a ”snip’ capture then added text of what the obscured post titles were. .I’ve surmised that the spade symbol is suddenly problematic. So far for today 13 April there were views of 2 posts.
Both had the spade symbol, displaying distorted.. I edited one of the 2 posts to replace the spade with ‘dot’. That displays correctly now —

Actually the problem is with all the card-suit symbols from the special characters in the text editor– I found a display problem with the heart symbol from the stats of 5 April.
Furthermore the oddity of ’11-2605′ or similar is also from the symbol used (star) but only a particular one. I substituted this one ✪ for a post of 10 April and it now displays properly in stats. The star in question was not from the source than I normally use (MS character map).
I think all this is related to the new post editor because any accepted symbol on any post displayed correctly before that.
So–I have solved my own problem it seems, but thank you for your interest & input -

. . I’m wondering if some hidden setting got changed, because I first saw this difference between what ‘should be’ & ‘what is’– on 8 April. But now in looking at stats for days before then, I now get the distorted spade symbol, etc.

Jeremy – I wanted to let it be known that somehow my weird situation resolved itself. . I had replaced the problematic symbols in this blog with known good ones. But I missed a few older posts, which have lately shown in the stats list with their symbols intact, the spade card suit.
I’m totally mystified now, as to what caused the problem first and then why it’s gone now. . .Should anyone else ever have this problem I guess they can be told it may resolve itself over time.
