Viewer Likes
-
I have been informed by a viewer to my blog that she was unable to “like” a blog. When she pressed the “be the first to like” button, she was prompted to log in or register with WordPress.
Is this some kind of glitch or is there a setting that I can change to correct it? Or do viewers actually have to sign up with WordPress in order to interact with a blog? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
You must be logged into WordPress.com in order to use the Like button. More information about it are here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/likes/#how-to-like-a-post and here: https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2010/08/03/like-a-post/
I see, you have some share buttons, so I’ll skip this one. But there is also a Follow button. It can be used by readers not logged in to WordPress.com. More information about it you can find here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/ and here: https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2011/09/21/more-traffic-for-your-blog-with-the-follow-button/
Hope this helps!
