Viewers don't get an email notification

  Hi,

  Some of my viewers get an email notification, some don’t.
  How can I solve this problem?

  To the best of my knowledge, invited Viewers also need to be following your site and subscribe by email in their Reader preferences in order to receive email notifications of new posts. (Viewers may also choose to opt-out of email notifications and read only in the WPcom Reader.)

  I’m also tagging this for Staff input to confirm as I seem to recall an earlier discussion on email notifications on sites marked Private.

  These folks will always get emails:
  https://wordpress.com/people/email-followers/

  These will only get emails if they’ve specified that in their preferences:
  https://wordpress.com/people/followers/

  If any of them would like us to check up on why they’re not receiving emails, can they reply here, or can you give me the first three letters of their username so I can check?
