Viewers unable to LIKE Post unless have WP account
-
How can I disable the requirement that a reader must sign into WP or register a WordPress account to allow them to “Like” my Post?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.com Likes are a WordPress.com Social feature, and as such will always require a WordPress.com account to use, much in the same way a Facebook Like requires a Facebook account.
-
that is not a social feature. this is UN-social. those of us who want facebook’s features are probably already on facebook.
may i kindly suggest you change this arrangement?

The Like system is tied into the WordPress.com social experience.
It’s a way for you to get involved with the WordPress.com bloggers who Like your posts, and a way for you to keep track of posts you Like: http://wordpress.com/#!/read/likes/
If you want something more generic that everyone can use, enable Ratings via the Ratings section of your blog’s Dashboard.

This requirement has really annoyed my readers and as such are likely to not return to a WordPress blog if they have to register. This kills my traffic & frustrates my followers who do not have a WP Acoount and do not want one. They see this as a scam to to gather more WP accounts.
This should really be changed.

They don’t need a WordPress.com account to read your blog, they just need one to click the WordPress.com Like button, just like you would need a Facebook account to click a Facebook Like button.
