viewing blog on mobile device

  I am using a “Free” installation. My blog won’t come up on mobile devices when I Google it. Do you need the “app” just to view the blog?

  There are some WordPress blogs that I am able to view on my mobile device, is there a setting or what? Any information would be helpful.
