Viewing blog posts when not logged in

  Hi. If I search for my individual blog posts on Google (while not logged into WordPress), I get a page that says:

  ‘Write, edit and publish from anywhere.’

  There is a WordPress login button below.

  So it would seem blog posts are not visible to people unless they are logged in and have a WordPress account.

  Is there a way around this, or is this a default setting that doesn’t display posts publicly anymore?

  For context, all admin and post settings are set to public.

  Any advice welcomed.

  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  Just before I submitted my original query, WordPress provided some wording with suggestions that might sort the issue. The article also said ‘If the problem persists, reach out to us for support.’

  By ‘reaching out to us for support’, does that basically mean proceed with posting your query in the support forum, or is there another avenue of support?

  Either way, the issue is still not resolved, so any help is appreciated.

  I had to guess the name of your site from your Username. What are you expecting to see by Googling the title of a post? Your posts appear to mostly be the name of a movie followed by the word “poem”. If I Google a title that is slightly more specific I see this which leads to your site:-

  Hi, thank you for the reply.

  I perhaps didn’t make my first post as clear as I could have done.

  What I mean is, if I then click into one of the search results for one of my blog posts on Google (while not logged into WordPress), I get a page that says:

  ‘Write, edit and publish from anywhere.’

  Which is requiring one to login to see the post.

  So what I am essentially asking is ‘can the general public view one of my blog posts without being signed into WordPress’.

  Are you looking at your site via a phone? Is perhaps something saved in cache from earlier? https://themovieandthemuse.wordpress.com/ is online and anyone can visit it without needing to be logged into WordPress.com
