Viewing blog when looking at new themes

Why is viewing your blog as a demo of new themes impossible? The demos are good, but I want to see what my blog will look like. It used to be possible, but it doesn’t seem so anymore. I’d rather see how my blog looks using one of these new themes than activate it immediately without knowing what it will look like. Is there a way of doing it?

Hello! 👋🏼
Such thee previews are possible only with the Classic Themes currently.
Previewing a block-based theme with your blog content is impossible (at this moment) due to the different technologies involved with the block themes, but we’re working on it ⭐️
However, you can change the theme to any block-based one and choose to import the theme demo during the activation. It will apply the styles and content you see in the theme demo on your site.
If you don’t like the theme, you can either activate the previous one or restore your site to the latest backup of your site (as a last resort) 😊
💡 Restoring a site is possible with a Business plan (which your sites have) via the Jetpack Backup & Restore tool:
Jetpack VaultPress Backup automatically makes a copy of your site, allowing you to restore it to the exact state it was in at any previous point in time. This feature is available on sites with the WordPress.com Business or Commerce plan. If your site has one of our legacy plans, it is available on the Pro plan. What Data Is Backed Up?
