Comments, as well as the “Leave a reply” field, show when you view a single complete post, not when you view your main page. Example:

Your blog only has 3 comments.
2 at http://undertherowantrees.wordpress.com/2013/02/16/just-found-a-fab-new-site/
1 at http://undertherowantrees.wordpress.com/2013/03/25/new-for-eastrer-in-under-the-rowen-tree/
You also two in the Comments Trash sub-section.
How do you feel there was another comment?
-
Thanks for all your help and support i didnt realise that you could only see comments if you viewed the page concerned separately and not when you view the whole blog together and I was getting emails saying people had thought ‘things abut blog entries but they weren’t showing up as comments, there must be other ways of leaving messages other than comments which II havent found out about yet.
-
Do you mean the emails that say, “[Person] liked your post on [Blog]”?
That’s not a comment, that’s a WordPress.com Like. You have nine of them on http://undertherowantrees.wordpress.com/2013/02/15/materials-i-use-firstly-beautiful-sea-glass/ look below the post.

hy Macmanx no it wasnt ‘likes’ it was emails saying things like **** thought your page was awesome, etc.

Ok, if you could quote the emails that would be great, because “things like **** thought your page was awesome, etc” still sounds like “[Person] liked your post on [Blog].” ;)
