Viewing excerpt on Ubud front page (is that even possible with CSS?)

  Hi!

  I am using the Ubud theme. When I am in grid-view and hover over the featured images, the entry title and details appear. I am wondering if it would be possible to also have the excerpt appear there, too. I’m not sure if that’s something you can do with CSS, but the excerpt DOES appear in list-view, so I wanted to ask–just in case.

  Hi Nicole, we cannot add functionality with CSS, we can only style and position what is already in the web page. To have an excerpt display would require editing the theme php script files, and that is not possible at WordPress.com.
