Viewing my pages and building a website

  I am new to the internet and recently purchased a domain name (namecheap) and I paid for domain mapping to wordpress with the idea of building a website. I am having trouble veiwing pages, but believe I have updated the DNS correctly. It claims that I need to wait up to 48 hours for the pages to be viewable. Additionally, when I try to view my pages from the dashboard it tells me that It cannot find my pages. How can I view my pages and start buidling my website? I simply purchased a domain name at namecheap, but I was assuming WordPress would host it for me. Do I need to pay for hosting as well? Perhaps that is a problem? Thanks for your patience as I am a beginner.

  Hi there,

  I just went to your site, sourcingworld.wordpress.com, and it looks like that at least is coming up OK!

  In regard to your domain leviathantrade.com (which is the domain which you have mapped with us), it actually looks like that domain has not yet been purchased. You may want to go check with namecheap and see what is going on with them, as I verified with two sources and both are saying that the domain is currently available for purchase.

  Once it is purchased, you’ll need to point the nameservers to:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM

  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  And it should work OK for you!
