viewing my site
-
Hi,
I am having trouble viewing my site. I added menus but can’t see what my site looks like to know if I did it correctly. I am also not sure if it is public yet, so I don’t want to start added post until I know it looks exactly the way I want it to.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
When I go to your site: https://alwaysandforeverflweddings.wordpress.com/I am able to see it, so the site is definitely public. I see that there is a sample post and menu items down the left side.
You should be able to see it by going to the URL, but also try going to your WordPress dashboard and clicking “View Site”, the first link in the left menu bar.
-
Are the menu items on the left side; home, about, contact, reviews and pics from recent wedding? I have tried view site but all I get is The Hello World with no menus above it and on the left my changes with my company’s name, recent post, recent post, archives, categories, etc. The template that I chose had menus on top of where it says hello world.

I’m not sure I just kept clicking around and trying different things. Now I’m have trouble with adding a HTML code fro WeddingWire. When I add the code, it is not displaying correctly on my site. Any suggestions?

What is the code you are trying to display?
Are you putting the code in a post? Or in the menu bar? -

Hi there,
After doing some research I have found this thread which covers your topic: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/help-with-text-widget-1?replies=4According to the user timethief and the WordPress.com support page we cannot use javascript code on free WordPress.com sites.
-
As an alternative, you can put an image of the Wedding Wire logo and make it a link to your reviews on the Wedding Wire page.

Hi,
I know I will need to upgrade to get a custom background. I can’t find the background I originally saw and wanted. If I pay to upgrade how many backgrounds will I have access to? Will the backgrounds be easy to find?
-
I don’t think you need to pay for a custom background.
You are using the LoveBirds theme and on the theme’s page (https://wordpress.com/themes/lovebirds/) it says “Lovebirds also supports custom backgrounds for further personalization.”
Which means you can use the instructions on the site below to change the background to another color or maybe even an image:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-backgrounds/ -
I found the background again but it says I need to upgrade for any of the pattern backgrounds. I think the only free options are solid colors?
