  WHen I log into WordPress to write a post or check stats, does the site count me as a view, follower etc for the day.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That’s right. It’s not supposed to.

  This is standard operating procedure for all sites. Your traffic isn’t “legit” traffic. If you are working on your site, you may generated dozens if not hundreds of pageviews and visits. That’s not fair as those aren’t “real” visitors. It skews the actual visitor counts as those are the ones you are most interested in. You know what you did, so you don’t count, so to speak. :D

  The site will count you if you are using a different browser, that you normally don’t use when logging into wordpress.com
