Views in private blog
-
Hello. I made a blog recently and got 5 followers but now I’ve decided I want this blog to be more like a personal diary only visible to me so I made the blog private. However, it concerns me that I still get views and, according to my stats, there are still a few visitors checking out my page daily. Could you please tell me what’s going on? I haven’t given authorization to any other user to view my page. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

With private blogs, your own visits to the site are counted in your stats.
From the support documents:
“Do Site Stats include my own visits to my blog?
Only for private blogs. For users with private blogs, your Site Stats page will show any visits that you have made to your own blog, as well the visits of other users who have access to your blog.” -

Another volunteer may correct me, but I also think a visit is counted if they simply happen upon your page. But… all they will see is a message informing them the site is private. They should NOT be able to access your posts.
