Views: need clarification
-
I have searched on this but I’m still not clear. What is the difference between “Blog Stats – Views Today” and “Today’s Views” on a particular post. Is the first one pertaining just when someone lands on the first page of my blog, or anywhere in the blog? With the second, of course, just showing views on a specif post, I assume. TIA…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

“Blog Stats – Views Today” counts all incoming traffic to your blog.
“Today’s View – Post” shows how many times people clicked a particular post in your blog so they get directed to the main post page like this one: http://lorawow.wordpress.com/2009/04/19/one-post-a-day/
How many people visit your post page like this one: http://lorawow.wordpress.com/random/ do not get counted. Also next time give a link to your blog or make your name link to your blog like mine. It’s explained in this topic: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/7-things-to-know-before-posting-in-wordpresscom-forums?replies=1 (Step 2)
Hope I helped,
Regard,
Lora
