views or hits?

  On the stats for individual entries, it shows syndicated view and on-site views. On a password protected entry, I am showing some views but I am the only one with the password on two of these entries and the pw is not the same one! I don’t look at it unless I am logged in as an administer of my blog.

  Could someone else be looking at it? Where are these numbers coming from?

  When a person clicks on that entry’s title to view it, even though they can’t read it cuz it’s password protected, it still counts as a hit.
