VIEWS – simple, but annoying issue
-
Hey guys, I’m new to wordpress and I’m a bit confused about one thing. On the stats page, it shows you total views on your blog in one day, as well as your own views.
Are your OWN views included in the TOTAL number of views shown below the graph, or are they separate?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
I would like to know as well. I thought I read somewhere that the admin’s views weren’t included, but mine sure are! I don’t think this is right. I got a message:
Your blog, Once Upon an Edit, appears to be getting more traffic than usual! 29 hourly views – 0 hourly views on average
I, ME, MYSELF, NO ONE ELSE has been on my site, oh except for my sister once to view it; I just made it public yesterday!! The kudos I got was like rubbing salt in a wound! -
If you are logged in – your views don’t count unless it is a Private Blog, then logged in page views count
If you are logged out and visit your own site, your views should count
