Views vs Likes

Hi, was just looking at my stats and I saw something kinda weird . My latest blog post has 4 likes but only 2 views…. I might be failing a level maths but I can do my basics… or am I just missing a link in how the like vs view thing works in my blog noobyness? Any help? Thank you~

Your maths aren’t wrong :) The difference is occurring because a reader can like a post without visiting your site.
A view is registered in your stats when a visitor loads or reloads a post.
However a reader can like your post without visiting your site, for example in the Reader. In this instance they haven’t viewed the post on your site — liking a post in this way does not count as a view.
