Views/visitors from the same address

  I have a blog that is aimed at people at my place of work for a sports and social club. I have noticed that the number of views is so many more than visitors (6 visitors, almost 200 views in a day). Would WordPress count all of the staff accessing from my office network as one visitor? (We also have staff working from home who would account for the other 5). I find it hard to justify such a massive discrepancy between the two numbers otherwise as my personal blog has a smaller gap between the two numbers.

  Hi there! It’s totally possible that we’re seeing multiple visitors as a single one if they’re all visiting from the same network. Part of the designation for unique visitors is IP address and usually within a network there are only a couple of public IP addresses. All of your staff may be visiting from the same IP address.
