Vigilance: Able to change colors of template?

The theme VIGILANCE has a page that says we can change certain colors of the template. Would one have to buy the upgrade to be able to change colors? Is this only for WordPress.Org or is it also for regular WordPress.com?
I don’t know html, but I would like to see what I can do with color on my blog

No, just select “enable from the pulldown at the top of that section and you can then change the colors of the different elements listed in that section. It doesn’t require HTML or anything like that. Just put in the hexadecimal color codes of the colors you want.

Oh, I just now found this reply that you sent me. Thank you. What good news! Before seeing this, I wrote a question about coloring the Announcement Box. I hope that it also is part of what can be changed.
I am going to have fun with looking for hexadecimal color codes. I saw a lot of Google entries for them. What good news! Thank you, and thank you to the creators of that theme/template.

Of all those many pages of hexadecimal codes, is there any that the knowledgeable bloggers use because it is somehow better than the others in its easy of use…. which to means ease of finding cololrs.

Ok, I found this page and like it because I can see all the colors in one glance and don’t have to scroll.
Please, anyone, if you know of something which has features that you like, could you share them with me?

“Better” is a subjective term. What is better for me would not necessarily be better for you.

This one lets you select a hue and then a saturation and brightness by clicking and dragging around a palette.
