Vigilance alert box: Single quotes being escaped

  This support request is regarding the Vigilance theme alert box on wordpress.com
  Please visit my blog to see an example of the issue.

  * The problem is that (only in the alert box) single quotes are being escaped -> from ‘ to ’

  * Additionally, all my alert box URL’s are being replaced as follows:

  Original url: http://gotsource.blogspot.com

  Affected as: http://gotyang.wordpress.com/%5C%22http://gotsource.blogspot.com%5C%22

  which naturally leads to a 404 page.

  * Some HTML seems to be stripped out as well. It refuses to recognize <p> tags in the code.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You need to send this directly into support at http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ . We are just volunteers here in the forum and this isn’t something we can fix. Staff pops into the forums once in a while but there is no guarantee they will see or respond to this thread.

  I would, but I’m not sure what they did, just that it works now. I think it might have been a temporary issue with the theme (they rolled out an update recently)
