Vigilance – Older/Newer Comments

  Hi. The “Older comments” and “Newer comments” links in the comments in the Vigilance theme appear to be reversed when comments are broken in pages (Settings > Discussion > Break comments into pages with __ top level comments per page and the first/last page displayed by default) See an example here:

  In my case, since it displays the most recent comments by default, the navigation link should say “Older comments”, but it says “Newer comments”. I tried switching “last page” to “first page” and the opposite happens. The oldest comments appear with a link that says “Older comments” instead of “Newer comments”.

  Hm, if you’ve got your Discussion settings to show:

  “Break comments into pages with _(insert #)_ top level comments per page and the _last_ page displayed by default”

  And

  “Comments should be displayed with the _newer_ comments at the top of each page”

  You should be getting a link to “Older Comments”. If anything else is happening, contact Support directly ‘cuz it’s a backend problem.

  All fixed up for Vigilance (also was affecting Titan and Paperpunch).
