Vimeo video does not show on my page

  I’m trying to add a Vimeo video to a page. I pasted in the URL as directed and it only shows as a link. I used the unlink tool and it didn’t change anything; it still seems to be hyperlinked in red.

  Hi Grace,
  The video was working great for a day or so, then disappeared again. So I changed it out for a YouTube link and so far, so good.

  I understand Vimeo has had some service problems the past few days, but the video is still live there. Do you think that has something to do with it, or is it a problem with the Origin theme?

  Hi there,

  I ran a quick test and Vimeo embeds (for me at least) are working fine at the moment, regardless of the theme I use.

  I see you are still using the YouTube embed. Can you give it a shot now with Vimeo and see if your issue has cleared up?

  Happy to take a closer look if need be. :)

  Gotcha,

  As I am not able to replicate the issue on my end, I have created a draft page on your site called “Vimeo Test” and was able to get the embed to work for me.

  Can you preview the page I created, and let me know if you are able to see the video embedded:

  Great, so on your page, the reason you don’t see the video is that the not being rendered correctly is because of some HTML that you have on your page.

  You can’t see it when it you edit the page in the “Visual” mode, if you click on the text tab in the upper right corner of the editor window, you will see this:

  <p style="text-align:left;">https://vimeo.com/85493437</p>

  Not sure how that HTML got in there (text should be left justified by default) but if you remove the extra code around the Vimeo URL, the embed will work as expected.
