Vimeo videos missing in older posts
-
Any of my posts published before June 2013 have lost the embedded Vimeo videos. There is a space for the video, but the video is not visible. The Vimeo URL appears correct, and it works fine in all newer posts. Any clues on what is wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Click to the Text Editor in the Edit Post view and see if your theme has put formatting tags around it. Sometimes when themes are tweaked this happens.

I could not see any formatting tags in text view or HTML view. And I am using the same theme in all of my posts. I don’t understand why only the older posts quit working.
-
Please give us a direct link to one where the Vimeo has quit working so we can take a look.

Here is a link to the first older post that I have found which is no longer working. As far as I know, all posts older than this one also do not work. And they all used to work.
Thanks for your help.

I found something on the Vimeo help pages that seems to work. It says I need to add something to the URL, such as “?1”, to cause the server to re-request the link. It seems to work. I updated the post with the link I previously shared. But it is a painful process to do that to all of my older posts. Is there some easier way to fix this?

bump…
When I first posted this question, all of videos older than June 2013 quit working. Adding “?1” to the end of the URL makes it work again.
But now, one month later, I have found that the videos from July 2013 are not working. So it appears that there is a relationship with the age of the post.
Surely there most be a way to prevent my embedded videos from becoming stale. Is there any progress on this issue?
