Virtual bookshelf

  Is there any development on the use of creating a virtual bookshelf within a wordpress.com blog. My blog is for a school library and I am trying to think of the best way to showcase new books. The widget for shelfari, goodreads, and librarything do now work as the code is stripped out. Any suggestions?

  One way would be to have the showcase book review as a Post with the Category “Showcase” – then use the Custom Menu feature to have a selection to display all Posts that have the Category “Showcase”

  Or you could use a Text Widget and put the “Showcase” Category link at the tip of the Sidebar.
