  How do I let people know about a blog? To make it visible to friends and strangers, alike? Thanks

  It will take a few weeks to go to the search engines for the web.

  You will need to put a few posts into it and finish your about page, your blog is empty

  Your Visibility is on auto, but the more you post the more it will be found, then you can send your friends the URL or blog address
