Visibility > Password protected in IE vs Firefox

    I set the Visibility for my post “Puppie pics” to Password protected and entered a password. I’ve checked it in Safari on Mac and Firefox on Windows, and it works just as it’s meant to. But in Internet Explorer, you won’t see the photos even when you enter the password. Does any one know if this a known bug or an “IE feature”…? And is there anything I or my friends can do with IE to sort it, or should I contant staff? Very grateful for any hints.
