Visibility limitation on Top Posts and Pages widget not being obeyed

  Several hours ago I modified the Visibility settings of a Top Posts & Pages widget displayed in the right sidebar of my site Songbook. The modification, which specified that a selected page title be hidden from the list, should have prevented the title from appearing among the top posts and pages displayed by the widget. However, the hidden title still appears in the list displayed by the widget.

  I should have been more specific in the topic statement. The problem isn’t a general one of visibility instructions not being followed in widgets. I haven’t previously experienced such failure. In this case, the complaint is limited to the failure of the “hide” command for a single page to produce the intended result, or any result for that matter. I haven’t recently tested whether it is working for other pages, posts, tags, categories, etc.
