Visibility of comment Likes

  I’ve twice gotten emails informing me that someone Liked my comment on a particular blog and yet when I’m visiting that blog, the comment Likes option is not visible to me. I’ve turned off comment Likes on my own blog. Does that affect my seeing the comment Like option on someone else’s blog?

  What is the blog address for the other blog where you’re receiving notifications that someone has liked your comment?

  Hmm, that’s odd. It looks like that blog allows users to comment, but there is no functionality there to “like” the comments. Therefore, I’m not sure how you’re receiving notifications that someone has liked your comments there.

  However, people have liked your posts and replied to various comments.

  If you receive another email with a notification that your comments have been liked on this blog, please forward them to me via email with my name in the subject line and a link to this thread in the body of the email, and I’ll take a look from there.

  Yes, I currently have post Likes turned on but comment Likes turned off.

  Perhaps the other blog had comment Likes turned on very briefly and then turned them off again.

  I’ll let you know if it happens again.
