Visibility of Featured Image in blog using Pilcrow theme

    Can I ensure that the featured image is visible to readers? Because it does not show when I examine my post. I was intrigued to read in a useres boar that if the Featured Image size is shifted to 1000 pixels wide, it might appear. I’d like to try this. At my current post, http://wp.me/p36T6t-1ME, and several others, I’ve been struggling to create custom banners with featured images in Pilcrow. It seems to work sometimes, and other times not, that the post actually “features” the featured image I’ve selected. IN a bit of a fit of desparation, I chose the featured image to be from a recent post on Malaysia Airlines flight, which is now the default. However, I’ve been having a huge problem customizing the posted image successfully, although the edited posts includes the image. Could the image be of an incorrect size? Why does this work sometimes, but other times not?
