Visibility of images on front page
-
I’m using the theme AutoFocus to present my photography work. The problem is, I can only see the uploaded images in the respective post, not on the start page. There, the fields only appear in white. My photos are not visible. Why aren’t my posted images visible on the front page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you reviewed the description of Autofocus and the related threads https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/autofocus ? I believe that you have to choose one featured image per post for it to appear on the front page.

Sorry, now I am using the theme Hatch, but the problem remains. So it doesn’t seem to be about the theme, but a basic setting. Any ideas? Thanks!

Great, that worked! I need to choose one featured image per post. Thanks a lot for your quick help!

No, it has to do with the theme – it’s just that these two themes work the same way.
A post will display an image on the main page if this image is the first image you have uploaded from your computer to your blog via the Add Media tool of that post, or if you set the image as a featured image to that post. -
I really wish these Featured Image themes would just have a reminder when you hit Publish (DID YOU SET A FEATURED IMAGE?).

That seems to be a helpful step, raincoaster. I agree. Thanks for your reply as well, justpi!
