Visit Site button in Dashboard takes me to “Not Found”

  New to WordPress (and to blogging) and still feeling my way around.

  The problem is that when I click on the “Visit Site” button in My Dashboard, although I get a page showing my blog name and the side bar with links to “About” and my other page, in the main body of the page I get “Not Found – Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”

  The reason you are getting the 404 not found error is that you have no posts so there is nothing for wordpress to show on your blog page. Create a post, publish it and then that error will go away.
