Visited page link color

    Hello,

I have added an accent color on my WordPress site so certain elements now appear purple. My current theme only allows for one accent color. (The default was red) Ever since I changed the color, the links to visited pages will appear purple. However, the links to my posts (in the headline) are originally black and will be underlined when I hover over the text. This is how I want it to stay but visited posts now display a purple headline and will turn black and underlined when I hover over. How can I keep the links to visited posts to stay black, or at least turn purple when hovering. It feels like a glitch, I don’t remember this being an issue before I changed from the default red color.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please note, I am on the free plan.

  • Hi there,

This is definitely inconsistent behaviour, so I’ve reported it to our developers to look into.

However, Lovecraft is an older theme, and with our focus being on themes that support the new site editor this is something that might not get fixed, so you need to be prepared for that possibility.

The only other way to control this directly is via custom CSS code on our Premium Plan or higher.
