Visitor feedback/complaint regarding navigating to the home page
-
I’ve browsed the FAQ’s and forum posts and can’t find a way to resolve this. The below is a feedback response regarding my blog and the visitor’s difficulty. How can I add the home navigation to the other ‘sandwiched’ posts?
Thank you – here’s what I meant – have a look at this page: http://lindafredrick.wordpress.com/2008/04/20/wounded-warrior/
It’s a regular post and I can go to the next or previous post BUT I can’t get back to the homepage! (other than clicking on your image, but most people don’t knowrealise that).
So, either keep your pagesposts (links) in the right bar (as you have on the homepage), or install http://mtekk.weblogs.us/archives/wordpress/plug-ins-wordpress/breadcrumb-navxt-next/ – or some similar plugin. At the top of his page, in the black bar, each step to reach that page is a link (category level) – showing you how you got there – and how to get back to the home page.

You can use a text widget to put a link in to your home page (which is what I have on my blog). Alternatively, some folks have had success with writing a new page and titling it

Apparently, you have to have 2 words in the title in order to it to work. This page will show up in your pages widget
