Visitor registration to download pdf

  Hi there,

  I’ve just opened a WordPress.com blog for my book. I would like to be able to provide visitors with the ability to download a pdf of my book, but require them to register their email address (perhaps by becoming a subscriber or ??) for future communications. Is such a thing possible?
