  I have the same problem at missbatesreadsromance.com … 7 countries, even more referrers, 68 views … and only 3 visitors since the wee hours.

  I’ve mentioned it many times in the forums that wordpress stats don’t work properly.

  I have a live traffic feed in my blog but the people visiting the site don’t actually convert to stats in WordPress.

  Stat counter is a better option if you are looking for genuine stats. I have mentioned this earlier as well that the difference between the stats from stat counter is huge. Sometimes even double the number. I double checked it with other stats as well and found the same problem.

  I still am able to count disparities between statcounter’s stats and wordpress for today. and it also happened a week ago, I think also on Monday.
  they never recovered. I know it’s a matter of little importance, but I can only write when I feel there’s someone there :)

  Having the same problems here. Stats not seeming to work properly yesterday or today. Will this be remedied/recovered?

  I never noticed any change in ‘visitor’ numbers, but my view stats dropped like a big turd for 6 days. Consistently around 900 a day, then dropped to 200, then suddenly after the ‘fix’ yesterday, back up to 910.

  As for retrospective stats, I very much doubt it.
