Visitor vs views – numbers seem to be wrong way around

  Hi there,

  I completely understand the views vs visitor stats and how it works.
  What I don’t get is that currently my numbers seem to be showing my stats the wrong way around.

  I posted an entry today and it’s showing me 1 visitor with 12 views. I have no problem with that.
  However, it is telling me that those 12 views are from 5 different countries… how can 1 visitor be from 5 countries?

  I’ve just assumed (for now) that the stats are somehow the wrong way around…

  Hi there,

  Your stats are not updated dynamically when you visit your stats page, and as a result, it’s very possible to see anomalies for the current day’s stats as some numbers may update before others.

  Thanks Jackie, that seems logical.
  I’ve checked my stats today (for yesterday) and it’s now showing a bunch more visitors plus their views and it makes much more sense.
