Visitors can't select "Like"
-
Visitors are asked to log in to WordPress when they select “Like” on one of my pages. My site is:
https://carlosfinephotography.wordpress.com/index-home/I made sure the following were unchecked:
….Comment author must fill out name and e-mail
….Users must be registered and logged in to commentBoth of the visitors that had that problem don’t belong to a social network like Facebook and they don’t desire to do so either.
Can someone help?
Carlos
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there – WPcom Likes and comments are not the same. Likes can only be made by logged in WordPress.com users.
From this Support doc:
Note: You must be logged into WordPress.com in order to use the Like button.

Aw, shucks! That’s not what I wanted to hear. I’m hoping I can remove the “Like” button so that it’s not a temptation to the users. I wonder if that can be done?

Yes, of course. You can learn how to do so on that same Support doc I linked to in my first reply.
