visitors can’t view site

  hi,
  my blog is http://denit.wordpress.com
  it isn’t private
  some of my friends have been letting me know that they can’t load the blog.
  i haven’t had a problem viewing the blog myself, either logged on or not, and i’ve tried other computers.
  i know they are using macs, and i recommended that they use firefox if they can.

  if there anything else i can do to help them? i’m still a newbie and i’m still working out the kinks!

  I can view it on Windows XP on Firefox and IE. Hmm. Are they in a country where WordPress might be blocked like China?

  Usually it’s because they’re at work and behind a proxy that blocks blogs.

  Most employers firewalls make China look benevolent. The last thing they want is blogging on the company’s time.

  i can view it using Firefox on my Mac. I would agree with rain & atthe404, it’s most likely a firewall wherever they are.

  Thanks! I’ll let them know. (And I’m not sure where they are right now, but I’m pretty sure it’s Australia.)

  i’m back.
  my friend still can’t access the site.
  they’re in Australia, on a mac, at home, using firefox.
  and get this. they also have a wordpress blog, which they have no problem with:
  http://rooftoppeople.org/blog/
  and i can access their blog fine. and they are the only person who hasn’t been able to access my blog.

  i have no clue what to do, any thoughts?

  Tell them to clear all cookies and their browser cache and try again. If that doesn’t work, tell them to sign in to WP and come to this forum and click on the link you put here. If that still doesn’t work, contact staff.
