    Hello
I often share something I have written through social media and friends read and then comment on my social media page. They are not able to like or comment on the post unless they sign up to WordPress, is there anyway around this as many folk don’t want to sign up to WordPress just to read stuff.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

You may allow all visitors to comment by toggling off the settings labeled “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” and “Comment author must fill out name and e-mail” in your Discussion Settings page. See the Who can Comment section of the Comments support page, and the Comment Settings section of the Discussion Settings support page.

However, only WordPress.com users that are logged into a WP.com account may use the Like button. The How to Like a Post section of the Likes support page says:

Visitors must be logged into WordPress.com in order to use the Like button. An alternative for non-WordPress.com visitors is to use the Ratings system.
