Add topic to favorites
One more problem to make me give up on all this. Now, suddenly (as seems to be the routine anymore), I am missing the list of aids that show underline, bold, center, left, right, etc… Nothing there at all?

Can someone please help? I am so fed up with all these problems any more…

Are you in the UK? If so, staff are working on the issue and it might be a couple of days before it’s resolved. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/recent-problems-accessing-wordpresscom-sites?replies=2

In the meantime you can work around it by using Windows Live Writer, which is free.

What browser and version are you using? What does it say under Settings->Writing?

What is going on with WordPress anymore? Every single time I try to post anything I have to jump through hoops. Just started happening about two weeks ago. Not I am not seeing the same screens…

Okay, then perhaps the setting I’m looking for is on your Profile page. Have you got “Visual Editor” as your default there?

Just discovered that this is a Internet Explorer problem ….sorry. When I accessed my site in FireFox the options showed. Anyone have a clue why this suddenly started happening?

Just put up a post two days ago without any problems?

IE and WP are both in constant change. Sometimes things get out of whack for a day or two, but staff on one side or other usually set them right pretty quickly.

However I just tried to add media via Firefox and it would not adjust….i.e., I wanted left, thumbnail and it kept coming up center full size. Why am I spending more time here on WordPress support than ever before. I have had my blog for a year a half and most of my problems have just started about two weeks ago?

Because that’s when they started seriously tinkering with things. There are many threads in teh forum on the centered, full size issue, so just do a search.
