Visual and HTML Links within Text not working

When I select link the break link box also highlights at the same time, consequently none of my links work, when placing them in a post. There i no problem with my widget links on my sidebar, they work fine. I’ve checked my settigs and can’t find a reason why this I occurring. The feature allows me to add the link but it doesn’t work. Any ideas?

trying another browser like Firefox or Safari

How you are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com.The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. It sounds like there could be a problem with your ISP. Can you access any of these directly?
