Visual appearance of blog post in e-mail

When I create a blog post, I am very careful about spacing and placement of media I’ve inserted. I always size my pictures to medium and always center them.

I preview the post before scheduling it to be published to be sure it’s exactly the way I want it.

When I see this post in e-mail, it is nothing like my previewed post. My pictures are no longer centered and, in some posts, the images are huge. Also there’s a large amount of space between the bottom of the pictures and the next paragraph not shown in the preview.

The process seems pretty cut and dry to me, so I’m not sure how I can be causing this to occur. Can anyone hazard a guess as to why this is happening and if there is something I can do to be sure it doesn’t continue.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

    Kim

    Hi there,
http://katydidcards.com/ is not hosted by WordPress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to any sites that are not hosted by WordPress.COM and we do not provide support for them. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
