  I cannot get visual composer. Do I need to pay WordPress some money? Where the ‘ell do I find a contact email for WordPress?

  Visual Composer is a plugin, so in order to use it on https://bloggsy123.wordpress.com/ you’d need a paid Business or eCommerce plan: https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/#using-other-plugins

  Thanks macmanx, very helpful. Would that also be true of http://plans-design-draughting.co.uk.? Actually “The blog I need help with is bloggsy123.wordpress.com.” was an automatic insertion by the website.

  plans-design-draughting.co.uk is a stand-alone WordPress site, using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org. That site has no connection at all to WordPress.com, and none of our upgrades apply to that site.

  If you’re unable to use a particular plugin on that site, I’d recommend you contact support for that plugin directly so they can help you troubleshoot what’s going on.

  General support for the version of WordPress you’re using is provided by the community in https://wordpress.org/support/forums/, but in this case the better route is to contact support at Visual Composer directly: https://visualcomposer.com/help/
