Visual Editor allign center

For some reason, I can’t seem to align text in the visual editor anymore when editing pages. It’s a bit frustrating. Anyone know why this is?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, can you give us the name of a draft post or page where you were not able to do this?
-
hi,
Are you saying the Align buttons don’t work for you ?
https://screenshots.firefox.com/k8Si59rpMov7dpVP/wordpress.comHave you tried it on a different machine and browser ?
Sometimes it also helps to clear your browser cache and ensure Javascript is enabled on your machine.
Let us know if you have further questions.

I tried it on firefox, and it worked as it should there. But I prefer using chrome, and there it doesn’t work at all. I tried clearing caches and javascript is enabled. Still nothing. The visual editor just ignores the align buttons, and if the text is already aligned, it either does nothing (in posts) or the text locks to the left (in pages).
Here’s a page where the problem appears, but it’s on every page on the blog. I use pages to link to posts, and it has worked perfectly up until recently.

Hi there,
All the buttons work as expected when I test them on Chrome. Can you please make sure you’re not using an ad-blocking or other security-related extensions? If you do please disable them and try formatting your post again.
If this doesn’t work or you have more questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help!

Thank you so much. I have a pop-up blocker extension, and as soon as I deactivated it, the alignment buttons started working again.
I can’t for the life of me understand what the two have in common, but either way, I’m very grateful.

I’m glad that you found what was causing it!
Ad and pop-up blocking extensions interfere with the code of the webpage you’re viewing (e.g. to hide ads) and sometimes other elements (such as alignment buttons) are affected as well.
