Visual editor cannot be selected

  My editor is stuck in HTML mode, with visual greyed out. I did check the personal user settings, and I do not have visual editing turned off. What’s going on?

  WP.com had a big issue earlier tonight and was offline. That may have screwed up some things. Try the Cookie Dance: log out, clear browser cache and cookies, restart.
