Visual Editor Can’t be Used

  Hi all,

  I have a blog on wordpress.com site (qwzxcv.wordpress.com). I was able to use visual editor before but I haven’t able to use it for 1 week even if it’s ticked in settings page. I can only use code editor.

  My browser is Firefox, version 2.0.0.6. I think, wyswyg editor is broken, and isn’t firefox compatible.

  It works in Firefox, it’s compatible and it is not broken.
  Believe me, when something breaks I have a lot of people tell me very fast.

  Users > My Profile > it’s ticked there?

  What extensions do you have?
  When did it stop and what happened just before?

  Users > My Profile, it’s ticked.

  I have no extension, I just use wordpress’ default. Sorry I can’t say “I could use it before I did something.”

  But it seems that, something overrides text-editor. Like div or fieldset tag.

  Can you try another browser please?
  Also clear the browser cache and press ctrl-f5 on the Write page (or apple+r if on a mac)

  Has it ever worked at all?

  I tried with opera linux 0.93, still doesn’t work. Here is a screenshot from firefox, opera is the same;

  Ok, I don’t know what the problem was, but I can use a visual editor now :)

  WordPress members should know that this “problem” can also be resolved by checking the “Use the visual rich editor when writing” option under Dashboard > Users > Your Profile.
