Visual editor is missing, html only

    Hi there,

    I have a wordpress site I use in my classroom. Since I have returned from summer break I have not been able to access the visual editor (I’m sure this has something to do with some upgrade IT did over the summer). The editing mode shows up only as html. I have tried a variety of browsers and all of the following:

    clearing your browser cache and cookies
    using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
    updating the browser to the latest stable version
    confirming third party cookies is enabled
    confirming JavaScript is enabled
    confirming Flash is updated
    resetting your router and modem and rebooting your computer
    then logging in using the secure https:// log-in
    trying another browser

    My school district is large and we use a variety of servers. I’m having trouble telling if it is on our end or if it is a wordpress issue. Are there some trouble shooting steps my IT department could follow?
