Visual editor link button not working

    When I try to add a link in the visual editor by highlighting the text, and then clicking the insert link button, I can insert the URL and information, but when I click “update” it navigates away from my draft and does not insert the link. I then have to go back to the draft to continue editing. The only way I was able to insert my links was by using the HTML editor, which did work.

    I have the same issue. I notice there is no save button, only an update button. The problem was hit or miss earlier in the day, but stopped working altogether later. I switched from firefox to safari, and this corrected the problem. However, my links do not turn blue. I tried changing the color scheme of the text, but it always defaults back to black.

    I’d like to continue to use firefox, if there is a easy fix for this.

    I solved my problem. There was no submit button, only an update button. The insert/edit box was empty. I held down ctrl and reloaded insert/edit box several times, forcing a refresh until I got it working. I got this solution from.
