Visual Editor not working

  I’m having an issue with the visual editor of the text block setting of our WordPress account. Every time I click on it it comes up with lines of code, and there’s no option of switching back to visual editor. The two boxes on the top right corner aren’t there.
  Please help…

  There are no sites owned by the WordPress.com account you are logged in to. Are you referring your account on https://wordpress.com or another site?

  That site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software found over on WordPress.org, so we have no control over how your editor works.

  Are you using the standard editor found in the WP-Admin dashboard at Posts ->Add New? If so, then https://wordpress.org/support/ is probably the best place to go for help.

  If you’ve added any editor plugin on your site, then posting in that specific plugin’s subforum would be better.

  But we’re not able to help you here.
