Visual Editor Problem

Instead of looking though the 1,000+ pages of problems, I thought to just ask it anyways.
So I was recently editing some older posts I posted, mostly adding them to new categories and checking the grammar/ spelling. A few minutes ago, the visual editor stopped working. Instead it’s showing the HTML editor, which I don’t want to even attempt to use.
Basically, what I’m seeing or not seeing is the row of icons on the top (the bold, italic, underline, spell check, alignment, etc.). And instead, like I mention above, the visual editor showing what you would normally see in the HTML editor. But, without the top button bar.
I deleted my cookies and whatnot to see if it would change it and it hasn’t.
Any ideas?

Go to your profile (under users) and make sure that
“Disable the visual editor when writing” is not ticked.
Scroll down and update.Seems like a quirk that has happened to several folks over the last few days, that the setting mischievously resets itself…

Ah that did it! I just checked it and unchecked it then updated my settings.
